The tyre is being double protected:

by a rubber buffer (APS)

bellow the tread pattern and by a specially treated textile (CE)

which is placed in the whole tyre profile area.

Thanks to the double protection is the tread protected in a maximum possible way from puncture and the specially treated textile protects the tyre in the sidewall area also from puncture. Tyres with this special protection are designed for very heavy terrain and service conditions where long durability, safety and reliability are required.
